Very poor service indeed. I phoned 3 times to order our turkey for Xmas. Each time I was told they were too busy to take the order and to call back when it was quieter...which I did, then I was told that I needed to come into the shop.
I think this is a bit ridiculous especially as we live 5 miles alway but ordered a turkey from here a few years ago, so thought we would support a local business. I have 2 young children and am being asked to drive 5 miles to order one turkey crown and palmed off on the phone each time.
Total waste of time and I will not be making future orders from here. I understand some older family run businesses don't do websites or online ordering, but to take orders over the phone, especially during the Xmas season, should be a basic polite service
